I've completed the Executive Summaries for each of the applicants. You can find them here

each vendor to share their budgets as Excels so we can compare apples to apples. I will
add to the Dropbox folder as they come in. Aside from Citiguard which was entirely
unqualified, the rest are strong applications. Based on experience/specialization,
customer service and communication to-date, and references, my recommendations for
interviews are as follows (green=interview):

I'd like to start scheduling the interviews ASAP, so please let me know by tomorrow if you
have differing opinions regarding who we should be calling in. I still would like to have
some time to sit down together and review the interviewees before conducting the
interviews, but I don't want to wait for that to happen before we start scheduling. Friday
is wide open for me - could you all make that work?

FYI I should be done with Executive Summaries by this afternoon. Each summary will include
my recommendation regarding whether we should interview the company or not. I think we
should aim to interview 2-3 vendors for each service. I'd like to schedule the interviews
by Thursday morning, so the sooner we can determine which companies to call in, the
better.

I'm in Boston next week for the Fall ULI Conference. My schedule is pretty open the week
of Oct 15. My potential jury duty starts the week of Oct. 22. I'm not scheduling any

in the event I get impaneled on Friday and have to carry over into the next week.

The RFP did outline the key questions that are important to the BID (see section VII
[pages 15-18] of the attached document).

Why don't I go through each proposal and extract into executive summaries for your review.
I can try to have this by end of day.

Couple thoughts:

Instead of us reading through all the fluff of the 7-8 RFPs why not develop the
key questions important to the BID and distribute that document back to the companies to
provide tunneled response (annual cost / estimated headcount hours / etc.) From there we
can then line them up in a rubric/matrix for comparison.
